Historic 1930’s/40’s Huon Pine Sailing Yacht for sale in BLACKBUTT, New South Wales for sale

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BOAT SHE IS!
We are sadly selling our sailing boat, Auriel, because we are buying a house and need to free up some money. She is a really beautiful 26ft huon pine yacht, all set up and ready to go for single or double-handed coastal cruising with two cosy and comfortable berths and a well-equipped galley so that you can stay aboard for extended trips.
Auriel was built in the 1930s’ or 1940’s, most likely in Tasmania, and remains in fantastic condition today, having recently been slipped and re-antifouled resulting in a hull in very good condition. Both the mainsail and roller-furling genoa were recently overhauled and are also in excellent condition. There is an additional genoa and boom too.
She could do with a little bit of cosmetic work above the waterline (e.g. polishing up the brightwork) but nothing that can't be done while you're enjoying sailing, racing or life aboard.
Auriel has two berths and a very roomy galley with full headroom (over 6’2”), lots of storage, a sea-toilet, sink, stove, fridge, solar power (2 panels), and all the gear you would need for a cruise around Australia (see inventory below).
She comes complete with a dinghy, davits and a trailer, as well as a very reliable 10hp Yanmar diesel, GPS, sounder, radio, epirb, life jackets, two anchors with electric winch. Everything you might need!!.
She is currently moored in Shellharbour and available for a test sail by appointment with the owner.
